Police are asking for help from the public, and advising citizens to take common sense safety measures after a pattern of robberies occurred in he following areas:
• 2700 block of W. Lawrence on March 7, 2017 at 1:10am (Beat 2031)
• 4500 block of N. Magnolia on March 7, 2017 at 8:30pm (Beat 1913)
• 4500 block of N. Broadway on March 11, 2017 at 5:30am (Beat 1913)
These robberies have been filed under the following RD#'s: JA-177755, JA-178957, JA-183332. When speaking with police, reference Alert# P17-N-073, and Alert#P17-N-073(CA)
At this time, per the pattern, these offenders are moving between the 40th ward (O'Connor), and the 46th ward (Cappleman)
Information in the alert says this:
Strong Armed Robberies have occurred within the boundaries of the 19th District (Town Hall). In these robberies, a group of offenders approached the victims on the street, and all of the offenders began to punch and kick the victims, knocking them to the ground.
